The Latest Updates in the Life of Shellers!

Wow... time always gets away from me.. BUT I'm all updated again ;) This Year of 2012 has already proved to be amazing!
January was the busiest month for drill!
We performed at 2 BHS Basketball Games, 2 U of U Basketball Games, 1 UVU Basketball Game, 2 Jazz Games, and we had 3 Competitions. It was literally insane. Our season ended with a nice victory at State on February 3rd! I had such a hard time deciding whether or not to do drill again last year, but I can't even explain how grateful I am that I chose to. I would've missed out on so many cool opportunities. I do not regret it ONE bit.

Also, lots of family changes have happened so far this year as well!
My two sisters both moved! Ray, John, Char, B, and Henry moved in with us, and Shae, Jon, Em and Lukie Ben took off for Washington D.C.! I felt like I got so close to Luke and Em during December and January so it was soooo hard to say goodbye! We had some of the funnest times in the tub :)
Em sliding down into the tub!
Cutest little boy! Always making me laugh :)

I accidentally poured in a little too much bubble bath! Hahhaa it was hilarious!
Emmer Bemmer! Miss that crazy girl!
The kids slept over a few times while Shae and Jono were gone so they wore some of my night t-shirts! Em is quite the dancer. She has some classic moves!
Shae, Mom, Ray, and I had an awesome girls night out before Shae moved! We went to Iggy's! "Iggy's fish tacos baybay!" hahahah. It was also an "honor mom night" where we talked about our favorite memories with Mom and things she's taught us.
I had to take some pictures... inappropriate as they may be.. haha of these four kiddos in the tub. They are my favorite!
Best Cousins :)
Lukie ben is a baller. Hahah I was laughing so hard when he had to put on a jersey before he could play basketball! So cute!

Yes, even I jumped in the tub a few times with my swimsuit on!

One of the last days I spent with Em I set up a big beauty salon. I did her nails and hair and then she did mine!! It was soooo fun!
Lukie ben wanted a turn too. This picture is one of my all time favorites of these two!

I would tell her these pictures were part of the Salon- so she would get a beauty/model picture!
I miss those guys! They are loving up D.C. though!

Now onto Ray and John. I absolutely LOVE having them live here! There is never a dull moment! I don't feel like an only child anymore! The kids make me so happy and I love having a sister back in the house! I don't remember much of living with sisters! Hahaha it's been so nice to have more people around! The kids make me so happy and they still get excited to see me and play with me! When I get home, Charley will say "Yay! Shelby's home, I've been bored allllll day!" Hahah  So anyway, last weekend Mom, Dad, John, Ray and I hit up Snowbird for some skiiing! Here are some pictures...

The tunnel

Classic Ski Picture- my tiny skis are hysterical!

The Fam!

Playing necklaces with the girls the other day brought back so many memories of playing "necklaces" with Charley when he was about Brittana's age! :) I sure loving having these girls around!

Well, this post has been ALL over the place! But I've also posted all about Drill and my life as well so click once on older posts to see it all! :) Right now, Drill has slowed down and I've just being doing a lot of School work and spending time with the family! I am also working through making college decisions, but I did make it into BYU! :) Woooohoo

Region and State Champs!! :)

Region Competition at BHS! It was such a big day for me! I was awarded Academic All Region, and I won the Drill Down! :)
Sisters. I LOVE them.
My favorite fan club!
Jane:)
My BIGGEST and BEST fan- mom:)
My girl friends that came to support!!
Number 1 in Region!!
The usual 5! This year we have been dubbed the "Fab 5"... we hated it at first, but we've just kinda accepted it! We are such good friends. I love them so much!
Jan. We did indeed sell our souls to Jan Whittaker, but we have no shame in that!
Applebee's after! Classic! We used to go there after competitions all the time last year!
Our State Bus: 444. 444. CRAZY stuff. We are always looking for "signs" to say "it's a sign." So this year we were always looking for 4's to symbolize BHS Drill winning State for the 4th year in a row! This was the best sign of the whole year!
Before we performed, we took a nice brunch break! It is nice to get away from the Competition for a little while.
So... here are some pictures from our dances that a girl took!

Military: 1st Place

 Dance Drill: 1st Place
Me and Hannah leading on the group! Our families LOVE it :)

I'm always a "lifter." Hahah I help lift this girl, and then another one right after!

Character: 1st Place

I was so lucky to have the opportunity to be on stilts!

Waiting in the circle for awards! We all cross arms, hold hands, and huddle together!
...and the 4a State Champion is... BOUNTIFUL!

The Fab 5 with the trophies!
Our crowd is soooo supportive and awesome! Tons of the Fans and Parents had on the African War Paint ;) Mom is on the very far right :)
4 Peat! "Kuaw Neen Suaw!" - In african that means Braves Take Winner... or STATE!
My favorite little girlies! They are the best fans!! Charley loved all the dances! She has drawn me so many good luck and congratulations pictures of me dancing and on stilts and such. It makes me feel so cool and loved! Love their face paint too!
Rachel is wonder mom! Can't believe she brought these 3 kiddos! Don't know how she does it! Thanks for all your support Ray!
Love my fan club! I was so glad Shae and Ray were both able to come even though they have so much going!
My mom is my rock! She has given me so much support and love through these past two years of drill! She is the best mom and I am so grateful for her!
Ahhh my second mom! I'm SO glad Shae got to come see my dance and Region and State before she took off to D.C. She has been such a good sister to me through all the rough times with drill. "Our Song" was always "I hope you Dance." I am so glad I literally choose to Dance.
I also had the most honorable experience as I was awarded Academic All State. Heavenly Father truly helped me keep up in school while doing drill!
Me and the Big Ole Trophy. All the hard work, injuries, sweat, and tears were ALL worth it!! :)
