UVU, U of U. and JAZZ Game Performances

This year we had so many awesome opportunities to perform at College and Jazz Basketball Games! Most of it was because of our crazy character routine on stilts! It was exhausting and overwhelming, but such an AMAZING opportunity!  It really made all the practice worth it!
Heading out to U of U--- squished in the back with all our stuff. We lug around so many bags and makeup boxes, and costumes, and stilts. We pack and unpack our bags for competitions and performances constantly! I like to say "I'm always packing, but I never get to go on vacation!"
U of U Basketball Performance! We were able to perform Character twice here within one week! We first performed it at a Women's game, and after that they asked us to come perform at a Men's game!

Practice at the Energy Solutions Arena! Such a cool opportunity!  Chandler thought it was so cool to lay in the middle of the floor :)

Military Performance at the Jazz Game!

 The team!

My girls! :) Lindsey, Hannah, Chandler, and Bri!

A few weeks later, we were able to go back to perform our Character routine!
Here we are getting all ready in the bathroom... I can't believe I've had the opportunity to perform so many times this year- and at 2 Pro Basketball Games! So grateful for this opportunity!

Yes, a Men's bathroom... hahaha
Putting on my Stilts! Hannah is the best :) She puts on my stilts everyday and for every competition! It's a big ordeal and I couldn't have done it without her :)
Me and Hannah! So glad we both decided to do Drill this year!!
Me and Bri! Tallies on Stilts!
The 5 of us all ready to go!

The whole team!! :)

Juan Diego and Murray Competitions!

Here are a few pictures from the two Invitational Competitions we had in January!

Brandon, Chandler, Me, Jack, Hannah, Jordan, Bri, Brock, Lindsey, James, and Alyssa

So... after the competition we have some wild nights! We were driving on the Blvd. and Chandler decided to try "opening the sun roof." It's called a sun roof, and it was winter. Chandler obviously didn't make the connection.....

Hahahahahahhahahaha SNOW everywhere! We were dying. It was so funny.

This perfectly explains Competition mornings. We roll out of bed, ride on a bus, get there WAY early, sit there forever and wish we were still in bed. Hahah

We always roll up to the comps with no makeup and slicked back hair. All the other teams have all this makeup on... hahaha
yay for noooo makeup.

After we get all ready we would go out for a brunch! Free Ice Cream :)
After the Competition... we are pooped!
Murray Competition: 1st in everything... and 1st OVERALL! It was a huge day for us! One of our best competitions and even though Bingham swept the 5a Category, we still got Overall!

Holding the BIG Daddy Troph!

After the Comp, we went to Wingers to Celebrate!! :) I don't even know how to explain the Nights after Competition. We are on such a high/ we are physically, emotionally, and mentally exhausted that we get out of control and hilarious! They make the day of Competition soooo worth it! Our true personalities come out! They have been some of the best nights of my life by far! hahaha
Our classic popcorn picture!
Our waitress hooked us up with 2 Free Asphalt Pies! Such a good night! Looking back, I will miss these nights more than anything!

Living the High School Life

 Our Lovely Santa Shorts... again!!

Hahaha this kid (Auzzy) is hilarious! Nothing like school spirit!

Basketball Game Performances!

Chandler is quite the character with her cheetah boots!

Ready to head out to Jr Jazz Games- our new usual Friday Night events.

Classic High School Stomp!

We brought out our white robes for the  "White Out" Basketball Game against WX!

Since Lindsey and I weren't asked to the Sweethearts Dance, I helped Jane and Chandler get ready and then we went and had a girls night to ourselves! It was a blast and we had so much fun regardless of the fact that we didn't go to the dance!

We went to the Pizza Factory for dinner! It seems to be a tradition for us, and we did the same thing last year during the Sweethearts Dance!
We went and saw the new movie the Vow! Perfect love story for our girls night!

We also visited Smith's and found this lovely banner!

Then another tradition to end off the night- our "model shots" in pobe- the truck's name. This may be the perfect opportunity to share about how the truck got it's name. Nobody in the family really knows that the trucks name is Pobe. One day back in Sophomore year I was driving around with my friends Camrie and Jane. Camrie told us how her Great Grandmas nickname was Pobe. Me and Jane laughed and laughed and joked about naming the truck that. Well for some reason it stuck! Now all my friends call it that, but I've never really thought about telling the fam! So there you have it! It's pronounce Po-bee. Well HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! Even though I didn't go the the dance and I spent Valentine's Day single, I have plenty of other people to love- my friends and family :)
