President's Day Weekend in NYC!!

I had the best President's Day weekend as I was able to go back to NYC and see Spen and Diana, their kids, and Scot and Sarah. It was such a good break for me and I had a blast. Best weekend I could have asked for! I was kinda nervous to fly alone as I had several layovers over the course of the trip, but it worked out and was a fun adventure. Couldn't resist getting some hot chocolate and a cinnamon roll at like 2AM during a layover :) I was quite exhausted after my red-eye flight. I was also so excited though as I gave out 3 pass along cards and talked to them about the church throughout all of my traveling. Such a good experience. I am committed to being a life long missionary for the Lord. I love this gospel! Anyway... on with my trip....

When I first got there, the older kids were at school and so I got to spend some time with London and Sophia. They are such cute little girls. They were so big and barely knew me!

The first night the kids also wanted to show me how their dad lifts them up into these big window wells in their high vaulted ceilings. I even got up there- it was a cool view!

I also brought some fun games and toys for the kids to play with. They loved the felt faces and they got a huge kick out of it. Pretty hilarious.

hahah and me...

It was so fun to see their AWESOME new apartment. We had a ton of fun playing outside on their big terrace area.

A little bit of leftover snow that we made into fake "sno cones" by mixing chalk into the snow.

A good view of the terrace!

The sno cone factory:)

Such creative kiddos!

I brought the kids those towels that open up when put into water. The boys though these were pretty cool!

Hud's sweet hair-do in the tub!

Making bubbles- not gunna lie, I was thoroughly entertained. They showed me some cool stuff!

Riss and Spen went to a fun daddy daughter dance date at a Children's museum. They looked so fashionable and had such a good time. Apparently spen even participated in a dance off! Hahah classic. Riss came home and told me to tell her Dad that he was the best dad in the world! She felt so special- it was the cutest thing.

I couldn't resist taking a bunch of pictures of the kids all dressed up for church as they looked so cute!
Londy Lou- so adorable.

Fifi LOVES having her picture taken. Too cute.

Me and the Girls!

Love this twinners. Handsome dudes!

The kids had way too much fun (and me too as you can see) taking pictures on my phone and camera. I came home with a lot of interesting pictures ;)

The kids also discovered these funny effects my phone could do... this was my personal favorite of shemmer.  Hahah too good.

Sunday night Spen and Diana went on a anniversary getaway and yes I babysat all 7 kids! It was crazy but such a good time. Once the younger kids went to bed, Riss got to stay up and have a girls night with me! We painted nails and did makeup and talked. I absolutely love my RISSA ROO!

She had toooo much fun with the makeup. She's a crack up.

Just modeling for me! Haha

Gooooood morning Owen.

I forgot to take more pictures of the apartment layout to bring back and show the fam, but all of the crazy pictures the kids took turned out to show some good shots of the house. Here is the main family room with the big nice widows!

Turning around and looking up at the vaulted ceilings in the main family room. I love it!

So cute as Hudson and Owen made this sign to welcome their family into their new home!

Shem showing off some Chocolate he got at church. He is quite the character. So much energy- i just love this kid.

I kept the kids quite entertained with a bunch of random games. This one was called Magic Carpet and they had to stand on the blanket and turn it over while still standing on it. They were way good at it and could do it! Very very impressive.

Trying not to fall off the magic carpet. True teamwork!

Playing another game I made up kinda like twister.

Sophia!

This girl LOVED my phone and once she got a hold of it, she had a death grip on it haha

And finally the pictures you have all been waiting for of the sweet baby Violet. She is the best baby! So content and so sweet.

More games- so fun to have so many kids all close in age to play games together. It was such a blast. Love my Wrestlemanians!!!

My wrestlemanians heading to the park!

I tied them all up together in one rope- haha they looked like a bunch of slaves...

Then Spen had the best idea and we set up a sweet rope swing! The kids loved it, i loved it, everyone loved it!

Just some homemade puppets we put together. These kids are seriously so innovative!

Of course the kids captured a pic of this too. Totally understandable as it is a regular part of the day in the marsdini household.

Me and the Plum

Yes I had a good time going through all the crazy pictures the kids took- seriously some weird stuff going on including mouths, ears, eyes etc.

Here are some other random shots of the middle floor- the playroom and laundry room!

The whole NYC crew! It was fun as one night when I was there I also went over to Scot and Sarah's and then went to dinner with them! So fun to have them around too.

After the kids would go to bed, we would stay up late and play games and enjoy the best cookies in the whole entire world- Insomnia Cookies... words can't describe people.

Ice cream in the middle- "Wiching it"

Last morning in NYC- Cute little Lou Lou

So Riss really wanted to put makeup on me before I left, so I let her and then the boys got into the lipstick and the following ensued.... hahahha

Love these crazy boys!

Rissa Roo!! She means the world to me. She is like my little sister. So grateful we are so close in age as I know we will be good friends when we get older- and hey we already are such good friends. I could and do talk to her for hours! I would do anything for her.

Big shout out to this good looking couple for letting me crash at their place over the weekend. It was a much needed break and we had so much fun.

SO HARD to say goodbye to these sweet kids as we bonded so much over the long weekend. I never wanted to let go :(

Diana texted me this picture after I left saying "we love YOU." It made me soooo happy. I am the luckiest aunt in the world. I wouldn't trade being an aunt to all these cute kids for anything. I adore them. Can't wait to see them again hopefully soon. Till then wrestlemanians.... I LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK.
